Book -The Vintage Kit (first page)
Emblem – Vintage Frametags (older posts-second page)
Both by NBK Scrap these are both free and you can download them HERE
Paper HERE
Frame – Fancie Frames by Scrapsational Scraps these are not free
Font – LavishlyYoursROB
Lets Get Started!
1. Open nbk vintage book 3 and resize to 22%
2. Shift+D to duplicate and close the original
3. Open a new blank canvas 800×500, floodfill white, copy your book
and paste as a new layer
4. Image resize 80% all layers unchecked
5. Add a drop shadow of 0,1,100,2 black and again at 0,-1,100,2 black
6. Open your frames and resize designerframe2 to 15%
7. Copy and paste onto your book
8. Change your foreground to pattern and find Paper2
9. Magic wand, click on your frame so the whole lot is selected
10. Floodfill with your pattern, select none
11. Add a drop shadow and with your eraser tool remove the lines in the middle
12. Image free rotate right 90 degrees
13. Highlight your book layer, copy and paste your image/tube as a new layer
14. Resize to 50% if using the same image as I am and move into position
15. Selection tool, set to rectangle and draw around your frame
16. Selections invert, delete, selections select none
17. Highlight your frame layer and merge down
18. Move the frame over to the left of your book
19. Resize your vintage emblem on a trim5 to 22% copy and paste as a new layer
20. Resize again to 80% image free rotate right 41%
21. Move it up to the top of your book
22. Highlight your book. Selections select all, float, defloat, invert
23. Highlight your emblem layer, delete and select none
24. Change the blend mode to Multiply
25. Text tool, LavishlyYoursROB, size 28, change your backround to the pattern
26. Write out Happy, convert to raster layer. Then Mothers, convert to raster
layer. Then Day and convert to raster layer
27. Merge down twice so all your text is on one layer and add a drop shadow of
0,1,70,0 black and change the blend mode to Overlay
28. Add the correct copyright, your name if you wish and watermark
29. Save and your done!
